10.1 New Airport Update Killing Connection

I am SO unbelievably frustrated. I have a 1 ghz PowerBook G4 with an Airport Extreme card. I downloaded the current Airport update from Software Updater, and now, even when I have a strong signal, I frequently cannot access the internet (on a WAP where others are accessing it sucessfully). One moment it'll work, the next, nada.

It also seems that this happens more frequently (or, only) when I have a Gnutella sharing client open. All of a sudden my access to the net will die, and I have to restart. This happens on multiple networks, all of which are unrestricted and allow sharing clients.

This did NOT happen before I installed the most recently offered update for the Airport card. Nothing changed besides the stupid update.

What gives? Can I uninstall the update? ACK!

There has been a lot of discussion about this problem on macintouch.com and macfixit.com
One of those places mentions how to revert to the previous version.
