iPhoto transitions?

To add insult to injury (see my previous posting), iPhoto (4) has suddenly lost the "Transitions" for the slideshows....any clues?

maybe theyve moved it since v3...i honestly cannot remember. but, i click on the slideshow button at the bottom and get all sorts of options, including multiple new transisitons.
