IMHO - it's not a very good solution if you have to re-plug it every time you login. Certainly not a fully-functional solution - but still an option considering the limitations out there.
On a G3 (of any type) wireless N speed isn't really going to matter since you are limited by USB bus speed. |

Hello to everyone!!!
I am new to this forum and I have a problem with my iBook. The airport seems to need to be replaced, but right now I'm short on money, so I was thinking of getting a cheap fix. I have an iBook with OSX 10.4.11 and I would like to know if there is a USB wireless adaptor that I could buy. Please help me, I'm going crazy without internet!!! Thanx!!! |

Also not mentioned: Some devices give wireless capabilities over Ethernet. Like my Linksys Game Adapter. It works for my Xbox 360 over Ethernet, and could technically supply wireless internet to any ethernet-equipped device.
Just thought it worth mentioning.
