would this work...?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if this network would hold water:

Let's say I had an airport station that was connected to the 'net through either DSL or dialup, and that was connected by ethernet to a beige g3/266. Could I throw airport cards in three other computer and have all four computer access the 'net and eachother? I'd imagine I'll need 10.2+ for all of this...not a problem (10.3 will work on the beige g3, right?).

Thanks!

Dialup???

It should work with DSL and an Airport Extreme base station with a LAN Ethernet port - you need it for the beige G3.

I have a client with an eMac plugged into the Airport via Ethernet and several wireless laptops. All can exchange files no problem. They are all on the Internet via DSL.

I think dialup should work in theory, I just don't have any experience with it.

No, you don't need 10.3. I think even 9 would work.
