Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection --> through SSH

Hi All-

I want to access a PC from my MAC that is behind a firewall, but the PC is only accessible if I SSH through a Linux box. I'd like to be able to use Microsoft's 'Remote Desktop Connection' software, but the software seems to need to 'directly' connect to the PC ... and I need to do some sort of SSH-forwarding (i.e. SSH into the Linux box, then connect to the Windows box).

Here is a small, non-friendly schematic of the setup:

--> Mac (at home; cable modem/firewall/etc.)
--> Firewall (at work) w/ static IP port forwarding to Linux box
--> behind Firewall w/ internal IP's = 1) port-forwarded Linux box and 2) windows box and 3) other linux boxes

I can get to the other linux boxes just fine by SSHing to the port-forwarded linux box, then SSHing to the other linux boxes from there. I do not know of/have not found a protocol to remote desktop connect to a Windows box in a similar manner though.

Is this possible? Can anyone help? Does this make sense (if not, i'll try to explain better)?
