It doesn't appear as though it's restricting AFP, because I can still print to the LW630 from the server with the firewall software running. It has to be restricting LPR.
I checked the Server Admin Guide and it says LPR uses TCP port 515. However, I unlocked port 515 in Impasse, and still it won't print. As soon as I disable Impasse, printing resumes normally. I'm missing something. Ideas?

Can you get Impasse to log everything and then check the logs to see what's going on?

Good call Yellow. I should've thought of that.
I had a thought this morning while I was sitting on the toilet (I seem to do some of my best thinking there for some reason). If AFP is enabled and LPR is enabled, I would still need IP traffic enabled for my subnet to allow printing. Shared folders can mount via AppleTalk, so if it's rejecting IP, I probably wouldn't have noticed until now. I think Impasse rejects all IP by default, though it is configurable. I'm not in front of the server right now, but I will check later today, and let you know. Sound reasonable to you?
