xwindows programs
how do i get programs that I install via fink or what ever, to appear in the program window (well, for windows, it would be start button..) There was the original installed items that are listed, and I find it sort of hard to memorize all the programs that i install..

If you installed using fink, try pasting this:
file://localhost/sw/share/doc/icewm/icewm-8.html into your browser. Also, if you're running it on top of gnome, you can use the gnome control center to configure the gnome menu.
