Canon Printer Drivers and Mavricks 10.9

It seems that many Canon printers do not work with 10.9/Mavricks with out an upgrade. I googled a little and found the link below for MF Canon's like my MF3010. Note that if you select the 3010 from their support pages there are no drivers listed. It appears Canon has not tested here current drivers against all their printers yet. None the driver below worked for me and the prior one did not.

TY, Yes same ones. Australia instead of Canada Guess they will post them in US and link them to specific printers eventually. I am enjoying Mavericks at least on my work laptop so far.

Did you try that driver (despite being from Oz, and not Canada?)

Agreed. And yes I installed the Canada ones which are the same and work. It turns out Canon's web site is a little too helpful. It tries to Auto Detect your OS. Which is Does it Says "OSX Detected" for OS Choice. And when you Click on drivers for OSX detected it says there are None.

However if you do not settle for the useless "OSX Detected" but Instead click on the Drop down of OS choices, you have many os choices including 10.9, 10.8, Windows 7 64 bit, etc. OSX Detected of course is not on the list

Beware of the helpful and misleading autobot.
