Real Player Downloader not working

Hope I'm in the right place!!!

I downloaded the free RealPlayer for Mac and also got the RP downloader which allows me to automatically download what I watch on Utube. Now for some reason it only downloads the ad before the actual movie, so the download is only 1.7MB. Can anyone help with this... Thanks

Sounds like RealPlayer remains as "good" as it has been for a long time.
I haven't used RealPlayer for any purpose, for probably five years.
For downloading YouTube vids, I like the MacTubes app. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/28608/mactubes

I use FastestTube - http://kwizzu.com. It installs an extension in Safari. Works well.
