Can't sync 1 of 3 iOS5 calendars to iCloud

I have 3 calendars on my iPhone running iOS5. When I activate Calendar Sync in the iCloud Settings, all 3 of my calendars show up on the Calendar List in iCloud, but one of them (my main calendar) has no events. The other two are fine.

Why would one calendar fail to propagate on iCloud? This is my main calendar, with events going back several years, all the way through today. I thought maybe it needs time, but I've been waiting for hours to see these events show up on iCloud in my web browser. Is there a maximum calendar size, or some kind of event data that is incompatible with iCloud?

Also, the events in that calendar have disappeared from my iPhone. Luckily, I have them backed up on my laptop running Snow Leopard.

All I could think of is: check what account you have set-up as Default under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Calendars (section)

Also, disable and then re-enable iCloud calendar sync - sometimes it takes more than one try to transfer data to the iCloud.
