Angry Web browser madness!!

Here's a couple of wierd things that maybe someone else can verify.

Using Mozilla or Omniweb, go to the Macfixit Forums and once you're on that page, click on a forum link. Any one.

When I do, I get a 404 Not found message.

When I use IE, it works fine.

I've cleared out cookies for Mozilla and Omniweb, but no go.

Why would IE work and nothing else? MFI uses PHP, which Mozilla and Omniweb handle just fine on this site and my own.

----------------

Next one: using Mozilla, type in a text area like when you're writing a post for this forum. Minimize the page before posting, then maximize. When I do, I can no longer type in the text area--can't copy/paste: nothing! That might be a bug, but I'm wondering if it's just me that experiences it.

Same thing happens to me at MacFixIt with both browsers, however I don't get the can't type after minimize thing with Mozilla. I'm wondering, do you have Windowshade installed? Also, I'm still using 0.9.8, so it might be different under 0.9.9.

I don't think it's the browser

I think it's their site. I can't access it with IE on Win98 (yech, I'm at work)

They may have changed a PHP setting, or they may be doing maintenance.

I'm typin this in IE, but I'm also running Mozilla, and it's on the MacFixIt Forum page right now, no problem. Just did it with Omniweb, again no problem.

Incidentally, isn't it great to be able to run three different browsers at the same time. Not sure why that's great, just that it feels so

yoyo, the MFI forum home page loads fine. It's when you try to go to any of the specific forums that you get the error message.

I've been doing stuff on VPC this morning and decided to try using IE 5 on Win 98 and IE 6 on XP. Neither would connect. I can only get IE for OS 9 or OS X to connect, which is fine.

Only . . . I'm really curious about why this problem exists. What could cause IE/Win., Mozilla/Mac and Omniweb to not connect? I can't see a css script doing this. Some tinkering with php?

Sorry, I misunderstood the original post. Just tried to get to one of the forum threads with Mozilla, and the same thing happened, page not found.
