Windows sharing disableing itself.

Every morning I have to open up the sharing control panel and check the box for windows sharing. Does anyone know how or why it's shutting itself off?

R U shutting your computer down over night? - that will do it... otherwise it should stay on.

Yeah I am shutting down at night. That may be an explanation but it's not much of an answer. Any idea how to get it to be turned on at startup? or why it resets at all?

Not sure why it does it... but you *could* try editing your hostconfig file manually to have it turned on by default.
Edit it to look like this :

SMBSERVER=-YES-
