HP 2600n--print driver issue

Hi,

I am trying to install the new drivers for my HP Color LaserJet 2600n. I have the drivers and can install them....but the printer keeps pulling the old driver.

How do I get rid of the old driver?

I uninstalled the printer, restarted the print system, and deleted the HP folder in the library. I still get the old driver when I launch again.

I'm running 10.6.8

Please help! This is making me nuts!!!
