Syncing bookmarks from iPhone to Macbook Pro
I recently had a hard drive crash and lost (among other things) the bookmarks on my Macbook Pro. I do have a time machine back up, but there are a number that I added between the last backup and the crash that will be a pain to add again.
I sync my bookmarks with iCloud, and they appear fine in Safari on my iPhone. However, they're not syncing with Safari on my Macbook Pro. Is there any way to "push" Safari to grab the bookmarks from iCloud? It is set up correctly in System Preferences, so far as I can tell. Alternatively, is there some way to export the bookmarks from Safari on my iPhone so I can import them in Safari in Lion? Thanks. |

Turn off bookmarks in iCloud system preference on computer.
Quit safari. Move the Bookmarks.plist ~/Library/Safari to desktop. Open iCloud preference, turn on bookmarks and it should replace(merge) everything on machine from iCloud. Open Safari and bookmarks should be there. |
