3Dfx Voodoo3000 PCI

Can I in OSX 10.2.6 use two monitors? I have a old 3dfx Voodoo3000 PCI card that would install into my Quicksilver G4 733. Do I have to get different drivers? Help!

Thank You!

Are you sure that your video card that came with your Mac doesn't already support 2 monitors?

As for the VooDoo card, you should go looking for drivers.

is the card one of the Mac Voodoo3's? Or is it a PC card that is flashed for the mac?

You wont get any acceleration with the Voodoo3. There are no drivers that come with OSX. It should work, im not sure how well though.

Good luck getting the voodoo to work. I just ran into a problem with some voodo cards the other day. A guy brought me the motherboard from a golden tee arcade game and it was running off a voodo 3 video card. I would say cut your losses with the voodo card and get a nvidia or ati card, one that actually has support.

Thats just my $.02

Thanks for all the advice. I think I will get a ADC to VGA adaptor that will connect to the built in card that should be able to run two monitors.
