Need help putting iMac g4 back to factory settings.
My mom gave me my brothers iMac g4 and I want to reset it to factory settings. I have never used a mac before let alone touched one. I am pretty good at following directions I know my way around any type of electronic but I really don't want to screw with any thing since I am a novice user with mac computers. I pretty much want to do this because I can not get it to connect to my internet and I can not connect my sister in-laws ipod which seems kinda weird since there made by the same people. Any way please some one help me. Thank you

We don't really call it reset to factory settings, but you can reinstall OS X using the original install/restore CD/DVD. The newest iPods require Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer - maybe that's the reason it won't connect to your Mac. |
