Fuji DocuPrint C1110 B driver snags.
Printer stopped working, with illegible messages in the printer's small dialogue box. FX support were very good, but ineffective. Interestingly, the tech who called me was very OS X aware - makes a pleasant change.
They sent me a (today) lab-tested driver that is confirmed working with 10.6.6. Didn't work for me! I got the printer working by selecting the "Generic PCL Laser Printer" option in System Preferences>Print & Fax>Options & Supplies>Driver. Anyone got any idea how this could happen? Same result across all my Macs.

If it works with PCL, but not otherwise, then that would suggest that it can't handle PostScript. Which is odd, if it used to!
Some of these big network printers need specific Queue names, like RAW, PS, print, or other things. |

Well, I have disabled Printer Sharing - just in case.
FX support sent me yet another, non PostScript driver today and that did not work either. Also, interestingly, Software Update gave me a new driver for the FX DocuPrint C1110 B today, but that has not helped. Quite bizarre really.
