How would I go about finding the MAC Address of a USB device attached to my Macbook Pro?

USB devices don't usually have MAC addresses (as far as I know).
What type of device is this?
What is your higher-level goal?

Does having a MAC address usually refer to a computer that's connected to a router/modem (wired/wireless)?

Cined could be talking about a USB WiFi or Ethernet card, or maybe he is referring to some other unique identifier code that the USB standard uses.

In any case, the answer is to check in Apple System Profiler, and look at the information about the USB device there. There is a lot of info there; pretty much everything the USB device reports back to OS X. If it is a network-related USB device, its MAC address can be found there too.
