mail osx blank duplicates

running 10.5.8, mail is 3.6 i recently had the computer crash, added accounts again and restored using time machine now i have in my inbox duplicates of my restored emails. one email is fine then there is a second duplicate which is blank has no information and wont delete.

any ideas?

Try rebuilding... select a mailbox, go to the "Mailbox" menu and choose "Rebuild".
