OSX 10.6.3 Not showing connected shares in Finder
Please help...
I am connecting to sharepoints that are on a G5 (OS 10.5) Xserve, and can connect to them fine, and when mounted can see them on my desktop fine. However if I need to view these connected shares in Finder (either directly or through a 3rd party application) it is a painful experience! Let's say I have a file open in Illustrator, and need insert an image from my connected share, I need to do that within the application file dialogs which browses the iMac using Finder. In this scenario, the connected volume is not appearing anywhere under finder. The only way to see it is to click on the parent server, and re-connect (although it is already connected), and this can take some time - which does not please the artists in our busy Studio! So my question is - is there any way to permanently show mounted volumes in the side bar (in the same way that 10.4 did)? Thanks Dan
