Roxio Jam 6 not working on new MBP 15
Got one of the new MBP 15 that came out this week and according to Apple store, it is Snow Leopard exclusive - could not put Leopard on it (wondering if this is really true.)
So I migrated my stuff over and so far, all apps tested seem to work except for Roxio Jam 6 and Toast 6. I trashed the plists and reinstalled the apps but no luck. They still bounce in the dock and don't launch. I read on the Roxio forum about someone who got Jam to work in Snow Leopard but his situation was before the new Macs came out so I'm wondering if it might have something the new models and Snow Leopard. I really depend upon Jam and would appreciate any help. |

May not work very old program and not INtel so you need Rosetta installed to even run this. Jam is depleted as such as is Toast 6 so maybe an update is in order.

I was using this and Toast 6 with no problem on my old MBP w/ 10.5.8. I did install Rosetta when I was using Migration Assistant to bring things over to the new laptop. I don't recall what program prompted the Rosetta install message to pop up but I know it was not Jam or Toast. Really hoping to be able to continue using Jam as they don't make it any longer. A watered down version apparently exists in features of Toast 10. |
