Since 10.6.2, copy/paste functions across x11/OSX don't work any more

Hi everybody,

Under Leopard, I used xorg-server, which worked fine. With Snow Leopard, I had to resort to x11 by Apple, since xorg-server is not (yet) supported by SL. Now, here's my problem:

The following functions don't work at all:

- refresh Pasteboard when text is selected

- when I copy Japanese text (Shift-JIS) to x11 Clipboard, and then paste it into an OS X application, I only get "???????????"

these two things worked beautifully before, but now have stopped working.

UPDATE: I just tried it again, and I was able to paste Japanese Text, but only the first three characters. This is getting bizarre...

Anybody has a clue? thanks a lot,

M:A:

Since upgrading to 10.6.2, I have not been able to copy from X11 to other OS X applications at all. Command-C doesn't work, not does selecting Edit > Copy directly.

I can still copy from one X11 window to another, or from OS X to X11, but not from X11 to OS X. It's a damn nuisance.

There's now a beta XQuartz available for SL.
