Anyone have hackintosh experience or advice?
I would like to build myself a computer - and I would like to dual boot Windows 7 and Leopard (not Snow Leopard until Guitar Pro starts working reliably on it
). Here is what I am looking at so far - I have serious questions regarding the motherboard, as it has mixed reviews on newegg. I am not a hardware-savvy guy, dealing more with networking, security, and programming:Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80605I5750 - $199.99 OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC ... - $74.99 CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 - $93.99 Western Digital Caviar Green WD15EADS 1.5TB SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive - $109.99 GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2 LGA 1156 Intel P55 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - $104.99 Thanks for the help! |

I believe such discussions are not permitted here as loading OS X onto any non Apple branded computer is against their EULA. Even though there are gray legal ares in all EULAs, the courts have yet to decide on the case with Apple Vs Psystar.
I recommend you head on over to the OS X x86 project's site and post on their forums. You will get better advice there most likely anyway.
