iWork help?
i have the following problem, i really like iWork 09, but there is something because of it i still didn't switch to iWork but still using OpenOffice. My question is, how to use iWork 09 in order to save the word documents only in .doc not in .page format.i know iWork can export as .PDF, .doc ... but export is one thing, other is save.i mean when i open existing .doc file that i receive via e-mail for instance i open it and edit something... when i save it it creates .page file that saves the changes, the .doc remain unchanged.Which is the best what to ignore .page format at all.
thank you previously! |

I am pretty sure you can ONLY export .docs and not save .docs in iWork.
Its SUCH a shame... iWork is an amazing bunch of apps... but Apple in their typically idiotic way make the app 99% complete and knowingly fall short of the mark. Its the precise reason that iWork was un-installed from my Mac... and OpenOfficeAqua 3.2 is the weapon of choice! |
