1TB hard drive in a MacBook (Early 2008)?
Can I use a 1TB hard drive in my MacBook (Early 2008)? I only ask because I heard that 1TB laptop drives are taller than normal ones so it might not fit.
Mac Mini (Late 2006) (Media Center Mac):
1.83 GHz Intel Core duo
80GB Hard Drive
Mac OS X 10.6.8
MacBook (Early 2008) (Main Mac):
2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
250GB Hard Drive
Mac OS X 10.7.5

You just need a drive that is 12.5mm or shorter in height.
Most of these are OK. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...eId=1&name=1TB
If you want to be extra sure, then get a 9.5mm drive.
