video editing
i am trying to highlight a video of my son's lacrosse game for a recruiting video for college. i have video's of his games however i need to identify one specific player with either a spotlight, circle, arrow, or some other identifier in order for a coach to know which player he should be watching in a short excerpt. how can i add a temporary identifier?
thanks! |

Snapz, Screenflow, uPointer
There is a pointer pref pane that can add a filled circle around your pointer. You can set your transparency of the color.
Using a screencap app like Snapz or Screenflow, you can play the video and follow the player that you want to highlight with your cursor. In Snapz, if the cursor is unchecked, the uPointer circle is still recorded without a mouse cursor. I assume the same is experienced with Screenflow. That is a cheap way of accomplishing this, IF you have Snapz or Screenflow screen recording software. Highlighting the player using one freeze frame may be sufficient, however. You could capture one frame, paint a circle on the player spotlighted, then insert it into the video in iMovie... Last edited by Chipped; 02-15-2013 at 12:11 AM. |
