Latest iTunes searching is SLOW

Trying to search for something in the all-new iTunes produces a lot of beachball time...in fact, lots of beach ball even before the letters I typed (2 of them!) even appear in the search window!

Anyone else? Any thoughts on why?

Spotlight problem?

It's instant for me.

If it were a spotlight issue, how would I know or fix it. Spot light isn't inventorying right now, or whatever you call its process...
