iCloud Tabs on multiple Macs
I recently got an iMac, already had a late 08 15 inch macbook pro. The issue that I keep having is that iCloud tabs will sync properly with my iPhone and iPad and can be pulled up on my iMac, but for some reason the MBP is completely out of the loop. All four devices are using the same Apple ID, I've gone through the "help" section, and done what it suggested, but the MBP won't recognize the tabs open on other devices. Both computers are using 10.8.2, and the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 are both using iOS 6. Thanks for any insight or ideas on how to resolve this problem.

Are other aspects of iCloud syncing working? e.g. Contacts, Reminders?
My guess is a faulty .plist. Try removing the plist files from ~/Library/SyncedPreferences. |

Yes sir, everything else is functional. I will give your suggestion a try and report back. Thanks for answering, I was beginning to think I'd broken it beyond repair.
![]() Edit: tried removing the relevant plist files, and tabs were still not showing on the MBP. Logged out of iCloud in system prefs on both machines, re entered information, then opened safari on both machines, turned on private browsing, then turned it off, bada bing, iCloud tabs showed up on both machines and pad/phone. I don't get why it worked, I'm just glad it did.
