is Screen Sharing enough to manipulate files?
I have been turning on screen sharing and file sharing, and logging in from another mac to manipulate files on THIS mac..
I'm curious, whether Screen sharing is all I need to do this, or whether file sharing must also be turned on? Basically, the other computer is the eyes and hands, remotely speaking, and the files being manipulated on this computer with software installed on this machine. thank you! a |

Screen Sharing turns on VNC and allows you to view and control the display of the remote machine.
File Sharing turns on AFP and allows you to browse the remote machine from the Finder of your local machine. So, you could enable Screen Sharing and manipulate remote files through the VNC session, or you could enable both and manipulate the files locally as well.
