Can I access my Airport Extreme from outside my home network using back to mac?
Hi All
Question in the title really. Am I able to access the files on my Airport Extreme 2TB HDD Time Capsule remotely using back to my mac? From what I have read, I think I need to have 2 Macs to be able to do this - though I admit to not fully understanding how and what exactly back to my mac is. Thanks all John

Time capsule is an independent device that you can configure to connect to remotely using Back to my Mac.
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3486?v...S&locale=en_US Once configured you should be able to be offsite and connect to it from sidebar. Back to my Mac create a secure IPSec tunnel between your computer > iCloud servers > time capsule. Just please make sure you have a very secure iCloud password. |
