iTunes/Firefox slowdown?
Just recently, I've noticed a lot of spinning beachballs in Firefox 16.0.1 when iTunes 10.7 is running. Also, the scrolling judders. I've had to force quit Firefox several times today.
If iTunes is not running, there is no problem. Anyone else experiencing this? Just me? Cheers. |

It looks like this is not an iTunes problem. I get the spinning beachballs without iTunes running.
Console gives the message: "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/QXPScriptingAdditions.osax" declares no loadable handlers I recently installed the latest Flash update. QXP? That's not QuarkXPress, is it? The site I experience the most problems with is tvguide.co.uk if you advance the time via the arrows at the top right of the listings grid. |

Console also mentioned Rapport, which is some banking security software I use that works via the browser. I disabled Rapport and, so far, the symptoms seem to have disappeared. Hmmm...

It hasn't slowed down my computer. The only problem is that it's a little slow when it is starting up bit it is worth the wait. It's got great organization.
