How do I fix www.google.com opens in wrong website.
How do I fix www.google.com opens some Yahoo developer page.
This only seems to happen after a certain niece visits. Appears across all users and both Firefox and Safari. Sometimes happens on the Linux machines. Sometimes happens on the Microsoft Windoze machines. I always notice this first on my 10.5.8 Dual G4. It cleared up while typing this or I would have pasted the link to the errant page. Does anyone have a clue what she did?

How old is the niece? It's not overly difficult to mess up your DNS but a 5yo won't be doing it.
Does the room temperature drop when she arrives? Any strange noises? |

Sorry I got busy with stuff.
I think shes is about 14. Tries to look 25. She used to live here so has some minimal skills that could have been upgraded. Also she seems to prefer Mac over Linux or Windows. Tho banned from the computers here she is sneaky and gets caught often. She has broken lots of stuff but purely by clumsiness I think. This extends to kicking whatever electronics is directly in front of her chair. I actually do not think any harm she does is malicious but rather just bad judgement. My 6 year old wrote an apology for her cousin breaking the paper tray cover. What I do not understand is how she can use only one computer (I think) and spread the dns disaster to the whole lan. I use disaster very loosely as it SEEMS to only affect google. Thanks
