Youtube Video Download

I am a new Mac user. I have been looking for solution to download Youtube video to the Mac but the Activity method doesnt seem to work on the latest system. So what now?

I use a Safari extension called FastestTube which also works well http://kwizzu.com

I practice downloading interesting youtube videos always. Before these disappear or I forget what these were called. So I have tried very many download tools.
The one that I have turned back to again and again is this

It works most of the time(95%) while many others(the ones suggested here already too) do not. If you can not get the video with one I try some others.

paid app works pretty good as well. But I save my free downloads for the ones nothing else works.
One that is almost useless is iSkysoft iTube Studio. I may have had sucsess 1 out of 15 with it.

You could well be right from your experience, but personally ive always had 100% success with FastestTube & ive been using it since it first appeared.
