Photo sync to ipod touch, from multiple computers
I have a 1st gen ipod touch that I'd like to give to my mom for pictures of grandkids. The thought was to put a bunch on it from my computer, then give it to her (she lives 4 time zones away) to add more photos to as she likes.
Problem is, as far as I can tell, all the photos on the ipod have to be from the same computer. Is that true? Any way around it? Thanks |

"as far as I can tell". Is this based on research? Or have you tried to copy photos to it?
Worst case, if you actually are restricted in this way, give it to her to add photos from her computer and put your photos on it via email, DropBox, etc.

I would use Dropbox (Photos folder or Camera Import folder) or a online photo sharing service with an app that is compatible with iOS 4.2.1 as i think that is last firmware that it can run.

fracai - both. Once you've added photos from one computer, in order to add more from another, you have to delete the first batch.
Thanks to both of you, I didn't even think of Dropbox. Will check it out. |
