Safari 5.1+ "Add Bookmark Here" feature?

Is there any extension or other means by which I can have the "Add Bookmark Here" function in the subfolders of my bookmarks in Safari 5.1+?

I have refused to upgrade beyond Safari 5.0.5 because I don't want to give up Saft's "Add Bookmark Here" feature in which it allows me to add a new bookmark into any subfolder I want. Now that a lot of time has passed, I'm hoping someone has found a way to do this with Safari 5.1+.

Thanks, in advance, for the help.

How is that distinctly different from "Add Bookmark...", which allows you to add a new bookmark to any subfolder that you choose?
And, in "Show All Bookmarks", you can drag any existing bookmark from subfolder to subfolder...

Not to speak for vickishome, but I find the layout of that dialog woefully inconvenient when working with lots of nested bookmark folders. Just to find the folder I want can be tedious. But in place of Saft, the Glims plugin has an option to put an Add Bookmark Here item within each bookmark folder when navigating them in the Bookmarks Bar.

Yah, OK... I confess to not having a complex bookmark setup, nor is it too large. I guess the default setup does take you through a really long scroll for a bottom-level folder.
I see the challenge there now

After I posted, I looked at the setup I have with that dialog. On my 15" MacBook Pro, the scrollable list is equal to 8.5 times the height of my screen. With every major Safari update I hope they'll make things better, but they never do, and they seem to make things worse elsewhere. On the other hand, I get the sense that bookmarks are sort of like the file system—it's something most users don't really get how to manage—so from that perspective I'm not surprised the weak interface(s) persists.

You spoke for me very well! That's exactly why I want the feature. I have a gazillion bookmarks that are kept organized under a very complex set of nested folders. I simply cannot function without the "Add Bookmark Here" feature. It's just too tedious without it.

I'll give Glims a try. I'm happy to see I can try it with Safari 5.0.5 so I can see if it will do what I want before I make the leap to Safari 5.1+.

Thank you for the help!
