iTunes -- "Replace Existing Songs and Import Them Again" -- Yes or No?

It is too early in the mroning for me to get my head around this challenge.

I have a CD of an artist's "Greatest Hits." When I go to import it into my iTunes Library I get a message that says:

"One or more of the songs you have selected to import have already been imported. Do you want to replace existing songs and import them again?"

Then I'm offered the options to:

"Replace existing" / "cancel" / "don't replace"

I'm sure I have some of these songs on other albums / playlists / compilations / ...

What I want to do is import all the songs on the Greatest Hits and leave all my other songs unchanged. Seems to me I don't want to replace them but I do want to import them again.

So do I hit "Replace Existing" or "Don't Replace?"

Thanks

You could paraphrase the choices, making your choice easy:
"Replace Existing (songs)" or "(Import, but) Don't Replace (existing songs, leaving those unchanged)"
I agree with your choice, as a "greatest hits" album might have different versions of songs with the same name, when compared to a "live" album, for example.
