Successive Port Permission requests
This evening, Little Snitch began throwing out permission requests for Network Utility to connect to Apple "via Stroke."
Network Utility via Stroke wants to connect to Apple.com Is the exact verbage... It keeps popping up every 5 minutes or so, each time asking for the next highest port, ie 14, then 15, then 16, etc. Anyone know what's up with this business? I don't even have Network Utility running! thank you! a |

stroke is an app that is the OS X command line port scanner.
Stroke happens to be included within the Network Utility, but can run without using Network Utility. there's various sites that talk about stroke: http://www.hadak.org/2009/04/01/stro...x-port-mapper/ |
