Very Slow Time Capsule Wi-Fi Speeds

Hi,

I have an Airport Time Capsule for my home network. I connect to it with several Mac computers, iPhones, iPads, etc. My Speedtest for all these devices show about 6 Mbps - not fast by some standards, but thats the limit of our ISP.

I also have a Dell Desktop computer using the WiFi network, but its speeds come in at less than 1 Mbps. However, when I connect it to the Time Capsule with an ethernet cable, the speed is the same as the Mac devices - aprx. 6 Mbps. I've deleted this Wireless Connection on the Dell and set it up again, but no change.

Using the AirPort Utility, I see that the data rate is about 65 Mb/s for all the Mac devices, but only 10 Mb/s for the Dell when using WiFi.

There must be some setting that is preventing the Dell from connecting at the same speed as the other devices.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dan
