Interesting ML Display Fix

I have a Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 display connected to an early 2009 Mac Mini with an HDMI/DVI adapter. Prior to ML, often the display would wake with a screen full of static. I'd have to move the cursor to the "sleep display" corner and then back once or twice to get the monitor working again.

That problem has disappeared with ML.

I don't remember reading of any display-related fixes in ML. Did I miss something or is this just a happy coincidence?
