how do I set a 24 hour clock in iCal
Being in Europe, I'd like to use a 24 hour clock in iCal on my new iMac, instead of AM/PM.
The system clock is set to 24 hours, but iCal refuses. Seems something trivial, but I just can't find it. |

Set iCal time to 24-hour format, http://hints.macworld.com/article.ph...00810131325943

I was just about to post the same link. I tried it under Mountain Lion and it works. One adjustment you need to make in following the instructions is to go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Region (instead of Formats as described in the Hints article). I made the change to all time formats, but there may only be one that's necessary for Calendar. |

Thank you very much, now I got it and it worked. After setting every option to 00-23 I also had to remove the blue bubbles saying 'PM' in short, medium, etc. An un-Applish procedure!

I didn't remove the AM/PM option in order to get it working. |
