Soundflower discontinues after sleep

I recently redid my hard drive to its original state. I then downloaded and installed the latest version of Soundflower. Now, every time I put my Mac OS X 10.6.8 to sleep, Soundflower disappears. It isn't hard to start it again, but since it didn't do this before the re-installation, I don't understand what the problem is. Would appreciate any information.

The version of Soundflower I have is 1.6.5.

You should reinstall it again.

This has been a recurring issue for years !
I have never found a solution on the systems that it is used on and it works sometimes and other time not. My users just deal with ;-)
