Remove Something From Firefox Menu

id like remove something from the firefox Tools menu

its a firefox addon i want to use but just dont want it in the menu

ive had a free hosted forum for 6 years and cant stand their ads. i was using an ad blocker that didnt work all the time but now have one that does, but theres a menu drop down for it rite below something i use 50 to 100 times a day. i dont want to see it, i finally got 6 years of screaming ads off and now its still there whenever i use another addon

its called Adblock Plus

Why do you have two ad blockers in your Tools menu?
Do you want to remove the Xmarks, too?

Are you accidentally hitting the Adblock item, instead of the item that you use?

Maybe it's possible to assign keyboard shortcuts to the ImageHost Grabber menu items, so you don't normally need to touch the Tools menu.

Or, you could try contacting the Adblock Plus developer. Perhaps they have a method to move the Adblock item to another position in the menu.

I don't have Adblock..
What exactly is in their submenu?

Another option for you would be to remove Adblock Plus...

Or, try to adapt with your 'muscle memory' - particularly if you have finally found a blocker that otherwise works well for you. Maybe you could try adjusting your mouse acceleration, so that you don't overshoot quite so easily.

I was just offering suggestions for alternatives that you may not have considered yet.

- just curious -
What exactly is in that Adblock menu that makes it so problematic for you?
Does it allow you to accidentally turn on ads, for example?
