Chrome and ksfetch

I'm getting nagged a lot by Little Snitch warning me about google software update via ksfetch wanting to connect to cache.pack.google.com for what I don't know.

I don't feel great about a google whatever having to update something unknown, several times throughout the day.

Anyone know how to turn the dumb thing off?

Many thanks in advance!

Here's a short info page with a tip that should (hopefully) keep working until Google decides to use a different update process.

We always set chrome to not update as often anyway (7 days or even 14 days) where we are not managing updates using a deployment solution. We found that users were getting bombarded by constant updates and getting sidetracked !

defaults write com.google.Keystone.Agent checkInterval 604800

But you can use the /tmp/*/ksfetch trick in little snitch ;-) and no doubt they will change the behaviour at some point.
