How to connect to AirPort Extreme usb printer
I have two Mac computers on the same network. One is running 10.7 and 10.6. On 10.7 pc, once I click add printer, the new printer that hooked up with AirPort Extreme appears immediately for selection. However, the pc 10.6 does not show any printer and requires a manual configuration. With Windows pcs, I got Bonjour print service to seek for newly added printer and gives an auto configuration. Is there any similar ultility program for Mac pc? Or can someone give the guidance how to configure it manually. Thanks!

Bonjour is an add-on for Windows, but is built-in on OS X. It should find the printer identically on 10.6. Have you tried waiting longer after clicking (+) add?
You should also try generic things like restarting _all_ the computers, or restarting the Extreme (power off/back on). anything help? |

Another thing to try on the 10.6 system is resetting the printer system. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax, then control-click in the area on the left where connected printers are usually listed. You'll see an option to Reset Printing System. Do that, then re-try adding the printer.
