Play DVD's on Apple TV with MacPro

Is there a way to play DVD's on my MacPro through Apple TV? I cannot get Apple TV to play any DVD; however, everything else works on Apple TV.

VLC: http://www.videolan.org
VLC is a cross-platform media player. It will often work when Apple's DVD Player software may not.

However, that doesn't answer the OPs question about Apple TV...

Konasun, you would use a converter software, such as Handbrake, to get that movie from the DVD, and give you something that you can stream to the AppleTV.
Or, software like Airparrot should work OK for you: http://airparrot.com
