Change reply from account in Lion

I'm running Lion 10.7.5 and want to set Mail so that whether an email comes in to my non-apple POP email address or my apple me.com address, any reply I send replies from the me.com address. Currently, the reply is from whichever account the email comes into. I know most people don't do it this way, but I want all my replies to sync across all my devices. Ironically, many threads I've read about Mountain Lion 10.8 say the functionality I'm trying to change is one that's broken in Mountain Lion which is upsetting a lot of users.

Maybe the fix to my problem is to upgrade to Mountain Lion!

There is a setting in Preferences > Composing to specify which is the default email account for sending.

Thanks, but that only pertains to composing a new email from scratch, not replying to an email.
