Mt. Lion: restrict full screen to 1 monitor?
I have 2 monitors. making an application go "full screen" will consume my main, larger monitor - which is great. but then my second monitor becomes useless in the sense that it merely shows that denim background.
The cursor goes there, but it's not actually useful for anything else.. Is it possible to tell the system to apply "full screen" to just the main monitor, and leave any other monitors free to do other things? thank you! a |

Remember, the intended purpose of full screen mode is to give you distraction-free and focused workspace, not just make windows bigger. If you're trying to manage multiple tasks, (that's not really the purpose of full screen mode) you have to manually resize and position the windows you're working with.
