Browsers won't display video button
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/vide...es-truck-video
If I open the link above in the latest versions of Firefox or Safari, there is no play button on the video window. However, if I open the link in SeaMonkey, the video window displays a button and it plays normally. Can anyone explain why? I have all Java enabled in all browsers, if that makes any difference. TIA. |

It works for me. The video start playing immediately, and there is a pause/play button in the bottom left hand corner.
It's nothing to do with Java, but if you don't have reason to use Java, (and this isn't one), then you should turn Java OFF in your preferences. (Not JavaScript, though: keep that on.) What version of Flash and OS X are you using? |

Latest Flash with 10.6.8. (And I've now turned Java off in Java Preferences, but left JavaScript on in the browser preferences. Thanks.

Well, I've worked out the problem: I was running an add-on called DoNotTrackMe, which was preventing the videos from loading. Disabling the add-on solved the problem.
