OS X Mountain Lion network error with Raidon NAS drive

I need some help please. I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and since doing so I am not able to access the shares that I had setup when I was on Snow Leopard. I have Raidon NAS drive which is connected to my network and has a folder called public which is shared but when I try to access it I get the following error "The folder "" can't be opened because you don't have permission to see it's contents" I have tried looking at the info for the folder I am trying to access but there is nothing to change under Sharing and Permissions. it just says You have custom access. I have looked everywhere and loads of things but nothing works. Any help is much appreciated.

Are these SMB shares?
Apple made some changes to SMB a little while ago that caused me similar problems.
