White Safari page after swipeback

Sometimes, when using the trackpad to swipe pages backwards in Safari 6.0.2 , the screen goes white & doesn't reload. I either have to go to history or click the bookmark again, to reload the page.

Has anyone else experienced this - not sure if its a bug in Mountain Lion or something wrong on my mac? It is not a great problem - just one of those annoying little things.

I have experienced that occasionally. No idea what causes it.
